  • A scanned copy of the passport information page. An applicant must submit a clean scanned copy of the information page of his or her passport that does not expire before the date of application. If the criterion has not been met, renew the passport. An applicant who fails to apply for a passport for objective reasons may submit legitimate documents or documentary evidence containing information regarding the applicant’s full English name, gender, nationality, and date of birth upon approval by the application receiving agency.
  • Diploma or certificate of highest education, if you are currently enrolled in a university then provide a Hope certificate.
  • Academic transcripts (Translated into English or Chinese language)
  • Language proficiency certificate (for Chinese taught courses valid HSK Score) and if a university requires English language proficiency provide a valid IELTS or TOEFL test report.
  • Admission Documents: for Postgraduate or Senior scholars (Admission letter, a pre-admission letter, Invitation letter from supervisor). Priority will be given to those students who have admission documents from the host University or an Acceptance letter from the professor.
  • Study or research plan Written in English or Chinese(for undergraduates no less than 200 words, for graduate degree program minimum 500 words and postgraduate program minimum 1000 words)
  • Recommendation letters: For Post-graduation or Senior scholars, 2 recommendation letters from Professors or Associate professors are required.
  • Applicant from arts or design shall provide his or her project such as paintings or videos.
  • If you are under the age of 18 you shall submit legal documents from a legal guardian in China.
  • Photocopy of the Physical examination form ( Original document must be kept by the applicant). The physical examination form must contain all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical examination form (Filled in English or Chinese language). Note: The physical examination form is only valid for six months.
  • Certificate of Non-Criminal Record or police clearance certificate issued by local public security (like police station). These documents are only valid for six months, older than six months will not be accepted.

Important Tips!!
