Eligibility Criteria for Mapua Scholarship 2024

Scholarship for high school students
  1. Students must have an annual family income of Php 700,000 or less. Students have a grade weight average of at least 85% in high school or belong to the top 10% of the recent graduating batch. Must score at least 60% in the Mapúa Program Placement Assessment criteria.
  2. All students on the President’s List with a QWA of 1.50 to 1.00 will be given a full Academic Scholarship with a 100% tuition discount. Those students with QWA of 1.75 to 1.51 will be given a 50% tuition discount. Only students on the President’s List will be qualified for the Academic Scholarship program.
  3. ETY SHS Scholarship Program: The E.T.Yuchengco Institutional Scholarship is for incoming college fresher students who belong to the Top 10 performing MCL Entrance Exam (MCLEE) takers from October to April of the current school year, and the Top 10 MCL Senior High School graduates will be eligible for the scholarship.
  4. Don Tomas Mapua Scholarship (DTMS): DTMS is offered for incoming Grade 11 college students who graduated “with highest honor” among the graduating batch of at least 60 students on merit, enrolling in the Department of Education from accredited high schools in the Philippines or abroad.
  5. Sibling Discount: A discount program that is available only to fresh students, transferees, or those seeking another degree enrolled from Batch 2011 (1st Quarter, AY 2011-2012) onwards will be considered for this scholarship program.
  6. YGC SHS Promotional Discount: The promotional discount is provided for any child of any regular employee of the Yuchengco Group of Companies members who are eligible for Mapua Scholarship 2024.
