1. When a local chapter identifies a prospective candidate, the local STAR Scholarship chairman will arrange an interview to assess that student’s eligibility. If the chapter votes to recommend the applicant, the chairman further oversees the online application process.
2. The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship application is an online submission application. Students will receive an email with instructions and a link to create their STAR online account once their recommendation chapter has finished and they submit a recommendation form and letter online. You will log into this account with the username and password you entered when creating the applicant’s account.
3. The chapter will advise the applicant to check emailed instructions for setting up her online account to complete her application portion.
