Since the scholarship is a merit-cum-means based scholarship, it takes academic merit and financial need into consideration for the selection process. The selection of the students is made through the following steps –

  1. The applications made online under different categories are initially arranged in descending order based on the marks one has obtained in the qualifying examination and the income criteria of the Applicant.

Scholarships (SVMCM) – Renewable

Each year, the scholarship winners (Bikash Bhavan Scholarship) have to apply for its renewal. The minimum score for renewal that one should obtain at the promotional level during one’s transition from higher secondary level to UG and Diploma level is 60% marks.
