We have monthly meetings on the second Tuesday evening of every month, which gives attendees the opportunity for equivalent contact and guest speakers to provide dental education.

Eligibility Criteria for WBOP Branch Student Scholarship 2024

1. This Scholarship is open to any scholar studying for a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago who originates from the Waikato Bay of Plenty NZDA Branch region outlined in the map below.
2. The scholarship amount is $1000 annually and is to be applied for by 31st March.
3. Should there be more than one student, the WBOP NZDA Branch Executive Committee will award the Scholarship to the applicants chosen. The Scholarship may be divided between the two.
4. The Branch Executive will determine the successful applicant at the April Branch Executive Meeting. The successful candidates will be notified soon after this.
5. The Scholarship may be devoted alongside any other scholarship as long as the terms do not conflict with the conditions of this Scholarship.
6. It is expected the candidates will correspond with the WBOP Branch throughout the year and try to attend at least one Branch meeting between February and October.
7. The Scholarship will be offered as funds allow for the students.

Benefits Conditions for WBOP Branch Student Scholarship 2024

1. The scholarship student should pass every academic year, or the Scholarship may be terminated.
